Morgan Stanley plans to price PLUS due 2020 linked to S&P 500 index

Olympia, Wash., Dec. 14 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due April 3, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus triple any gain in the index, up to a maximum payout of $11.79 per PLUS.

Investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline of the index from its initial level.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent, with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management handling distribution.

The notes (Cusip: 61768W335) will price on Dec. 28 and settle on Jan. 4.
