Morgan Stanley plans to price buffered PLUS linked to S&P 500 index

Olympia, Wash., Dec. 14 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due July 6, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.
The payout at maturity will be par plus at least 200% of any index gain, capped at par plus 26%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to the 10% buffer and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.
The notes (Cusip: 61768W343) will price on Dec. 28 and settle on Jan. 4.
