BMO to price buffered bullish enhanced return notes on S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 16 – Bank of Montreal plans to price 0% buffered bullish enhanced return notes due Oct. 30, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of any index gain, up to a maximum return of 20% to 23%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.

BMO Capital Markets Corp. is the agent.

The notes will price on Oct. 26 and settle on Oct. 31.

The Cusip number is 06367WDU4.
