Barclays plans to price buffered digital notes due 2022 tied to S&P

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 7 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered digital notes due March 28, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index gains or declines by no more than 15% the payout at maturity will be par plus the digital percentage of 20.5% to 21.5%. The exact digital percentage will be set at pricing.

Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any losses beyond the 15% buffer.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on Sept. 25 and settle on Sept. 28.

The Cusip number is 06746XNS8.
