New Issue: Morgan Stanley sells $7.07 million leveraged buffered notes on S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 20 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC priced $7.07 million of 0% leveraged buffered notes due Oct. 20, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 300% of any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,186 for each $1,000 principal amount.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.1111% for every 1% decline beyond the buffer.
