Citi plans 7% to 7.5% contingent coupon autocalls on S&P 500, Stoxx
New York, Aug. 7 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 7% to 7.5% autocallable contingent coupon equity linked securities due Sept. 5, 2025 linked to the S&P 500 index and the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of between 7% and 7.5% if both underlying indexes close at or above their 75% coupon barriers on the observation date for that period. The exact coupon will be set at pricing.
Starting in August 2019, the notes will be called if both indexes close at or above their initial levels on any quarterly observation date.
The payout at maturity will be par unless either index finishes below its 75% final barrier level, in which case investors will receive par plus the return of the worst performing index with full exposure to any losses.
The notes will be guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
The notes will price on Aug. 30 and settle on Sept. 5.
The Cusip number is 17324CZ90.
