HSBC plans autocallable barrier notes tied to Dow, Russell, S&P 500

New York, Aug. 2 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% autocallable barrier notes with step-down call threshold feature due Aug. 27, 2024 linked to the least performing of the Dow Jones Industrial average, the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be automatically called at par plus the call premium of at least 10% per annum if each index closes at or above its initial level on the first five annual observation dates or if the index closes above 70% of its initial level on the final valuation date of Aug. 22, 2024.

If the note are not called, in which case investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline of the least performing index from its initial level.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on Aug. 20 and settle on Aug. 27.

The Cusip number is 40435FW37.
