Morgan Stanley plans 4.88% fixed-income buffered notes on S&P 500
New York, March 13 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to sell 4.88% fixed-income buffered securities due March 29, 2023 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The coupon will be paid semi-annually.
At maturity, the payout will be par unless the index declines by more than 25% in which case the notes will give exposure to 1.3333 times the loss beyond the 25% buffer.
Morgan Stanley will guarantee the notes.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on March 29 and settle on April 4.
The Cusip is 61768CM20.
