New Issue: Credit Suisse sells $1 million buffered return equity notes on EM ETF, S&P basket

Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 23 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch priced $1 million of 0% buffered return equity securities due Feb. 18, 2022 linked to a weighted basket of the S&P 500 index and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The index has a 75% weight, and the ETF has a 25% weight.

If the basket gains or finishes flat, the payout at maturity will be par plus the basket return, capped at 40%. If the basket declines by 33.5% or less, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 33.5%.
