Barclays to price 3.5-year buffered digital notes linked to S&P 500

Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 12 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered digital notes due Aug. 27, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is at least negative 15%, the payout at maturity will be par plus 18% to 19%. The exact digital percentage will be set at pricing.

If the index return is less than negative 15%, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on Feb. 23.

The Cusip number is 06744CUN9.
