Morgan Stanley plans 21- to 24-month buffered digital notes on S&P 500

Morgantown, W.Va., Sept. 28 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% 21- to 24-month buffered digital notes linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

If the index return is at least negative 15%, the payout at maturity will be the maximum settlement amount of $1,071.40 to $1,084 per $1,000 principal amount.

If the index return is less than negative 15%, investors will lose 1.1765% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.

Morgan Stanley is the agent.

The Cusip number is 61768CRE9.
