Goldman plans 4.15% contingent coupon notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, Sept. 13 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price contingent coupon notes due Sept. 22, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will pay a contingent monthly coupon at an annualized rate of 4.15% if the index closes at or above its initial level, which will be to 88% of the closing level of the index at pricing, on every trading date during the period for that month.
The payout at maturity will be par the return and contingent coupon, with exposure to any losses.
Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is the guarantor.
Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the agent.
The Cusip number is 40054LT20.
