GS Finance to price leveraged buffered notes linked to S&P 500 index

Morgantown, W.Va., Nov. 21 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% leveraged buffered notes due Dec. 3, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.2 times the index gain. Investors will receive par if the index declines by up to the 35% buffer and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the buffer.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent.
The notes will price on Nov. 30 and settle on Dec. 5.
The Cusip number is 40054KPV2.
