New Issue: Barclays sells $1.6 million buffered SuperTrack notes tied to S&P 500

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 29 – Barclays Bank plc priced $1.6 million of 0% buffered SuperTrack notes due Oct. 1, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, subject to a maximum payout of $1,192.50 per $1,000 of notes.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.
