GS Finance to price 60-month digital notes linked to S&P 500

Morgantown, W.Va., July 7 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% 60-month digital notes linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index return is greater than or equal to negative 25%, the payout at maturity will be the greater of the threshold settlement amount of $1,250 per $1,000 principal amount and the sum of par plus the index return.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1.3333% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 25%.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
The notes will price on July 8.
The Cusip number is 40054KFY7.
