JPMorgan plans capped enhanced participation equity notes on S&P 500

Columbus, Ohio, July 5 – JPMorgan Chase Financial Co. LLC plans to price 0% capped enhanced participation equity notes due Oct. 12, 2017 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus three times the index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,159 to $1,186 per $1,000 principal amount of notes. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

If the index return is negative, investors will be fully exposed to the decline.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on July 7 and settle on July 14.

The Cusip number is 46646EMY5.
