Morgan Stanley plans five-year trigger performance notes on S&P 500

Chicago, Nov. 2 – Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% trigger performance securities due Nov. 30, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 136% to 146% of any index gain.

If the index falls by up to the 75% trigger level, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the underwriter. UBS Financial Services Inc. is agent.

The notes will price on Nov. 24 and settle on Nov. 30.

The Cusip number is 61765R883.
