JPMorgan plans capped return enhanced notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, Sept. 24 – JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price 0% capped return enhanced notes due Jan. 5, 2017 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any gain in the index, up to a maximum return of at least 19.35%. The exact level of the cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Sept. 30 and settle on Oct. 5.

The Cusip number is 48125U5R9.
