Credit Suisse plans to price capped ARES linked to S&P 500 index

Madison, Wis., June 29 – Credit Suisse AG plans to price 0% Accelerated Return Equity Securities due Jan. 6, 2017 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes at or above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 300% of the index return, up to a cap of 17.7%. Investors will be fully exposed to any index decline.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the underwriter.
The exact terms will be set at pricing.
The notes are expected to price July 2 and settle July 8.
The Cusip number is 22546VGP5.
