Citigroup plans seven-year market-linked notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, May 5 – Citigroup Inc. plans to price 0% market-linked notes due May 26, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, up to a maximum return of 40% to 50%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.
If the index falls, the payout will be par.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.
The notes will price on May 22.
The Cusip number is 17298CAQ1.
