Barclays to price seven-year CDs linked to S&P 500 with 40%-45% cap

Tacoma, Wash., Aug. 6 – Barclays Bank Delaware plans to price 0% certificates of deposit due Aug. 30, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a term sheet.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the index return, subject to a minimum payout of par and a maximum payout that is expected to be $1,400 to $1,450 per $1,000 principal amount and will be set at pricing.

Barclays is the agent. Incapital LLC is distributor. The fees are expected to be 3.5%.

The CDs will price Aug. 25 and settle Aug. 29.

The Cusip number is 06740AX87.
