New Issue: Goldman prices $7.39 million buffered notes linked to S&P 500, MSCI EAFE

Tacoma, Wash., June 16 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $7.39 million of 0% buffered notes due June 19, 2017 linked to a basket holding equal weights of the S&P 500 index and the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the basket return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the basket return. Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 15% and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 15%.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
