New Issue: RBC prices $335,000 leveraged buffered notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, Sept. 27 - Royal Bank of Canada priced $335,000 of 0% leveraged buffered notes due Sept. 30, 2015 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any gain in the index, up to a maximum payment of $1,150 for each $1,000 principal amount.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.1111% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.

RBC Capital Markets, LLC is the underwriter.
