New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $6.03 million buffered notes linked to S&P 500

Madison, Wis., March 1 - Morgan Stanley priced $6.03 million of 0% buffered participation securities due May 5, 2014 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, subject to a maximum return of 7%.

If the final index level is at least 91% of the initial level, the payout will be par.

If the final level is less than 91% of the initial level, investors will be exposed to losses beyond the 9% buffer.
