Barclays plans protected notes with no cap tied to S&P 500, iShares EM

Chicago, Sept. 12 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% notes due Sept. 20, 2019 linked to a basket of two equally weighted components, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The underlying indexes are the S&P 500 index and the iShares Emerging Markets index fund.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any gain in the basket.

If the basket falls, the payout will be par.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on Sept. 17 and settle on Sept. 20.

The Cusip number is 06741TGD3.
