New Issue: Barclays prices $5 million 0.5% 10-year notes linked to S&P 500

New York, Feb. 13 - Barclays Bank plc priced $5 million of 0.5% notes due Feb. 14, 2022 linked to S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable quarterly.

The payout at maturity will be the greater of par and the alternative redemption amount, which is par times the quotient of the closing value over the threshold value of 1,676.42, which is 124% of the initial level of 1,351.95.

The notes are callable on or after Feb. 17, 2015. Holders may put back their securities on any business day from Feb. 14, 2014 onwards.
