Credit Suisse plans buffered enhanced participation notes on S&P 500

San Diego, Dec. 6 - Credit Suisse AG, Nassau Branch plans to price 0% buffered enhanced participation equity securities due in about 18 months linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any index gain, up to a maximum return of 16% to 20%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will be exposed to any losses beyond the 10% buffer at a rate of 1.111111% per 1% drop.
The exact terms will be set at pricing.
The notes (Cusip: 22546TN64) are expected to price and settle in December.
