Morgan Stanley plans five-year equity-linked notes tied to S&P 500

New York, Sept. 28 - Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% equity-linked notes due September 2015 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The final average index value will be measured on a quarterly basis over the life of the notes.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 120% of any index gain. Investors will receive at least par.

The notes (Cusip: 617482NS9) are expected to price and settle in September.
