New Issue: Barclays prices $25,000 buffered dual directional notes on S&P 500
Chicago, Dec. 19 – Barclays Bank plc priced $25,000 of 0% buffered dual directional notes due Dec. 13, 2028 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.1 times any gain in the index.
If the index falls by up to 15%, the payout will be par plus the absolute value of the return.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the index beyond 15%.
