New Issue: Barclays sells $970,000 notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, Dec. 11 – Barclays Bank plc priced $970,000 of 0% notes due Oct. 26, 2027 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of any index gain, subject to a maximum return of par plus 33%.

If the index falls, the payout will be par.
