New Issue: Barclays prices $4.48 million fixed coupon buffered notes on S&P
Chicago, Nov. 17 – Barclays Bank plc priced $4.48 million of fixed coupon buffered notes due Oct. 29, 2026 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will pay a quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 6.3%.
If the notes are not called and the index finishes at or above 85% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the 15% buffer (and the final coupon).
