New Issue: RBC prices $3.43 million market-linked securities on S&P 500
Chicago, Oct. 18 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $3.43 million of 0% market-linked securities with a contingent fixed return and fixed percentage buffered downside due Oct. 16, 2026 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 25.8% if the index finishes above 80% of its initial level.
If the index finishes below its 80% buffer level, investors will have a 1% loss for each 1% decline beyond the 20% buffer.
