New Issue: Barclays prices $6.82 million trigger autocallable gears linked to S&P

Tacoma, Wash., Aug. 3 – Barclays Bank plc priced $6.82 million of 0% trigger autocallable gears due July 31, 2028 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be automatically called at par plus 10% if the index closes at or above the initial index level on Aug. 2, 2024.

If the notes are not called and the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.605 times the index return. The payout will be par if the index declines by up to 25%. If the index finishes below the downside threshold, 75% of the initial index level, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines from its initial level.
