New Issue: Scotia sells $11.06 million autocallable bear Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities

Buffalo, N.Y., June 21 – Bank of Nova Scotia priced $11.06 million of autocallable bear Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities due June 28, 2024 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be called at par plus a premium of 34.3% per year if the closing level of the index is less than or equal to its starting value on any quarterly valuation date after six months.
If the notes are not called at maturity, investors lose 1% for each 1% gain in the index.
