New Issue: Scotia sells $9.15 million capped buffered enhanced participation notes on S&P 500

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 19 – Bank of Nova Scotia priced $9.15 million of 0% capped buffered enhanced participation notes due Feb. 12, 2025 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 210% of any gain in the index up to a maximum payout of $1,310.80 per $1,000 of notes.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will lose 1.25% for each 1% decline beyond 20%.
