New Issue: HSBC prices $3.5 million contingent income callable securities on S&P, Russell, Nasdaq
By William Gullotti
Buffalo, N.Y., Nov. 9 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $3.5 million of contingent income callable securities due Nov. 7, 2024 linked to the worst performing of the Nasdaq-100 index, the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 11.25% if each index closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 60% of its initial level, on every trading day during the observation period.
The notes may be called at par plus any coupon otherwise due on any quarterly observation date.
If each index finishes at or above its 60% downside threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus any final contingent coupon otherwise due.
