New Issue: Credit Suisse prices $5.55 million buffered return equity securities on weighted basket

Buffalo, N.Y., Jan. 21 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch priced $5.55 million of 0% buffered return equity securities due Jan. 20, 2027 linked to the performance of a weighted index basket, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the S&P 500 index with an 80% weight and the MSCI EAFE index with a 20% weight.

If the basket finishes at or above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the return of the basket with the gain capped at 88%.

Investors will receive par if the basket finishes at or above the 80% buffer level. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the basket beyond 20%.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the underwriter.
