New Issue: Citi prices $2.91 million buffer securities tied to S&P 500

Buffalo, N.Y., May 10 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $2.91 million 0% buffer securities due April 25, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the final index level is greater than the initial index level, investors will receive par plus the return of the index, capped at par plus 7.9%.

If the final index level is above the 85% buffer level, the payout will be par. Investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond the 15% buffer.
