New Issue: GS Finance sells $1.31 million fixed-coupon S&P 500 index-linked notes

Los Angeles, July 17 – GS Finance Corp. priced $1,308,000 of 5.45% fixed-coupon notes due July 6, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

Interest is payable monthly.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the index finishes below 70% of the initial level, in which case investors will lose 1% for every 1% index decline.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the agent.
