New Issue: Barclays sells $5.2 million 8% buffered fixed-coupon notes on S&P, Russell

Olympia, Wash., July 2 – Barclays Bank plc priced $5.2 million of 8% buffered fixed-coupon notes due June 30, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Interest is payable monthly.
If each asset finishes at or above 80% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% per 1% decline of the lesser performing index beyond the 20% buffer.
