New Issue: Barclays prices $7.14 million buffered fixed-coupon autocallable notes on S&P, Russell
By Sarah Lizee
Olympia, Wash., March 5 – Barclays Bank plc priced $7.14 million of 5.05% buffered fixed-coupon autocallable notes due Aug. 31, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Interest is payable quarterly.
The notes will be automatically called at par if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly call date after six months.
If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par unless either index finishes below its buffer level, 80% of its initial level, in which case the payout will be par minus 1% for every 1% that the lesser-performing index declines beyond 20%.
