New Issue: Barclays prices $1.5 million 14.5% reverse convertibles linked to Southern Copper
New York, March 27 - Barclays Bank plc priced $1.5 million of 14.5% reverse convertible notes due June 30, 2009 linked to Southern Copper Corp. shares, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Payout at maturity will be par in cash unless Southern Copper shares fall below the protection price of $11.35, 60% of the initial price of $18.92, during the life of the notes and finish below the initial price in which case the payout will be 52.854123 shares of Southern Copper stock.
