Moody's gives A2 to S. Washington County I.S.D., Minn., bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an enhanced Aa2 rating to South Washington County Independent School District No. 833, Minn.'s $39 million general obligation school building bonds, series 2008A, and $11.25 million G.O. alternative facilities bonds, series 2008B, due to the additional security provided by the State of Minnesota's School District Credit Enhancement Program.

Sale of the bonds is expected on May 22.

Moody's also assigned an Aa3 underlying rating to the bonds.
