Solutia 2009 noteholders settlement hearing postponed to Feb. 27

Pittsburgh, Feb. 14 - Solutia Inc.'s hearing on approval of its claim settlement with holders of the company's 11¼% senior notes due 2009 has been postponed to Feb. 27, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The hearing was previously scheduled for Feb. 14.

Solutia, a St. Louis-based manufacturer and provider of performance films, specialty chemicals and nylon products, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 17, 2003. Its Chapter 11 case number is 03-17949.
