Solexa transfers listing to Nasdaq National Market

Erie, Pa., Feb. 21 - Solexa, Inc. said the Nasdaq Stock Market has approved the company's application to transfer its listing to The Nasdaq National Market from The Nasdaq Capital Market, which was formerly known as The Nasdaq SmallCap Market.

Solexa's common stock will begin trading today on The Nasdaq National Market under the symbol SLXA, according to a company news release.

Solexa is developing and preparing to commercialize the Solexa Genome Analysis System, which will be used to perform a range of analyses including whole genome resequencing, gene expression analysis and small-RNA analysis. The company's U.S. operations are based in Hayward, Calif.
