SolarCity promotes Small to vice president of global capital markets

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 27 – SolarCity Corp. promoted Radford Small to executive vice president of global capital markets.

Radford will be responsible for securing sources of capital in the banking and institutional markets for SolarCity's solar assets, according to a company news release.

Radford’s track record includes the company’s first $200 million MyPower securitization and the recent $160 million term loan with BofA Merrill Lynch, Key Bank NA and Silicon Valley Bank.

Radford joined SolarCity from Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was a managing director and chief operating officer for the clean technology and renewables group.

SolarCity provides clean energy and financial products based on clean energy. It is based in San Mateo, Calif.
