Fitch rates Austin, Texas, bonds AA-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an AA- rating to the City of Austin, Texas' $172.58 million of (Travis and Williamson Counties) Water and Wastewater System variable-rate refunding bonds, series 2008.

In addition, Fitch said it affirmed the AA- rating on outstanding Austin Energy separate lien bonds, outstanding Austin Combined Utility system prior lien senior and subordinate bonds, and outstanding Austin Water and Wastewater separate lien bonds.

Sale of the bonds are expected to price on April 30.

The outlook is stable.
