SEI plans to launch Small Cap II Fund in March

San Diego, Jan. 13 - SEI Institutional Investments Trust announced a launch date of March 29 for its new fund, the Small Cap II Fund. The fund will offer class A shares.

According to an N-1A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the fund will seek capital appreciation by investing at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of small companies. Market capitalizations of the selected companies will align with those of the Russell 2000 Index.

The portfolio managers of the fund have not been selected.

Management fees and annual fund operating expenses have not yet been determined.

Oaks, Pa.-based SEI Investments Management Corp. will be the fund's investment adviser.
