Slovenia plans offering of euro-denominated notes

By Rebecca Melvin

New York, Sept. 15 – The Republic of Slovenia plans to offer euro-denominated notes subject to market conditions and the result of a concurrent tender offer for two series of notes, according to that nation’s finance ministry.

The sovereign is tendering for up to $400 million of its 5½% notes due 2022 and up to $200 million of its 5.85% notes by reopening its 2024 notes for an exchange and by offering new Regulation S notes.

The tender expires on Sept. 19.

Barclays, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs International Bank and J.P. Morgan are joint dealer managers for the transactions.
