Moody's: Slovenia view to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook on Slovenia's Ba1 government bond rating to stable from negative.

Concurrently, the agency affirmed Slovenia's Ba1 government bond rating.

Moody's said the key drivers of the outlook change are:

• The greater clarity over banks' capital needs following the asset quality review, and the stabilization of the banking system through recapitalization;

• In consequence, decreased uncertainty about the sovereign's funding prospects and a diminished probability that the sovereign will require external financial assistance; and

• Overall, a balancing of the risks to the fiscal outlook.
